Theater Carpet
Theater Carpet Sold By The Square Foot
Movie theater carpet is patterned for a reason. Dark grounds with dense multicolor figures hide traffic lanes, spilled soda and popcorn crumbs in a room where the lights go down and nobody sees the floor until they do. Ours is commercial grade cinema carpet, the same construction that goes into public auditoriums, sold by the square foot so you order to your room rather than to a rug size. Most patterns come in several color themes, so you can pull the ground color toward your seating instead of designing the room around the floor.
Collections and Patterns
Any Day Matinee and Kaleidoscope are the largest collections, with Impressions, Games People Play, Playful Patterns, Cowboy Carpets and Neon Lights filling out the range. Block Buster and Feature Film lean into classic movie house nostalgia. Multi Sport and Let The Games Begin suit a man cave or game room. Antique Scroll, Cathedral and Chateau Chic run more traditional if the room reads formal rather than playful.
Measuring and Finishing The Room
Measure wall to wall, then add for pattern repeat and seam allowance, since patterned carpet has to line up across a seam the way wallpaper does. Account for a riser platform if you are building a raised back row, because the riser face and tread take carpet too. Prefer to define a seating area rather than carpet the whole floor? Look at area rugs instead. Finish the room with acoustic panels, poster frames and marquees or a concession stand, or call 888.457.7328 and we will help you work out your square footage.
